Today I ate biscuits & gravy.
Everytime I eat this meal it reminds me of the times I used to sleep over at my grandparents. I'd wake up early to the sound of sizzling bacon, stumble to the kitchen to see my granddad reading the paper and my grandmother making an elaborate breakfast. Whenever I stayed the night she'd always my my favorite - biscuits & gravy.

bisquits w/ gravy + eggs = my favorite breakfast too!
My family is all from the North [they don't make biscuits and gravy up there] so I didn't have biscuits&gravy until I was like 15—it was at waffle house.
