I've been learning how in worship we learn to hear God's voice. So in worship its not just us giving to God but God giving back to us, He's talking to us and imparting his vision to us. When we truly worship in spirit and in truth we're fearing God and it says in psalms that the Lord confides in those who fear him. Which makes perfect sense.

Anyway, thats about it.

"Good word", poop. Good word.

“In spirit and truth”. Some people may disagree with me, but I firmly believe that no matter how conservative or charismatic your church is, if you want to have true worship, the Holy Spirit must be a part of it. The Holy Spirit is our counselor, the one who makes things clear to us. It is not God or the Word that has changed; it is me—through the Holy Spirit. How can we respond to what God has done if the very Spirit, whose job it is to make the things of God clear to us, is not present? Our very worship depends on the Spirit showing us a God we can exalt.

What a great explanation of that mix. I feel like I'm in slow motion [in a completely sincere and weird/fun way] when i listen to it.

i figured that one out too.
I know i get the best ideas for art when i'm worshipping.
God knows how we work and he'll reach us in the perfect ways.

To be honest, I've often wondered why God talks to me so much more during worship than at other times.
