I need your input.
I have to do a self portrait for my final in my 2d design class. The instructions were a self portrait with/in container. Pretty vague.
Right now I'm thinking using chicken wire to mold a replica of me. It would be wearing skinny jeans, an Ipod in the pocket with ear buds, a necklace, and maybe some other stuff.
What do you think? Too cliche?
My other idea was using tupperware to make "skin" on my double.

use cardboard as your canvas.
Do you need to draw yourself in a container or actually have the portrait in the container?
If you only have to draw it, incorporate dripping hot wax on top or create texture with an actual wallpaper background.

I don't know enough about drawing to understand what you're saying. But I think iPods are awesome.
