"Be still, and know that I am God;

I must admit that I have a very difficult time with this verse, as it is very hard for me to be still. Does me taking the time to be still affect how or when God will be exalted?
P.S. I miss my brother.

Definitely one of my favorites, too.
I also have a hard time with this verse. Ultimately, this verse is talking about trust. Trusting that the safest place to be is in the center of His will, despite my fears or frustrations.
P.S. I also miss that brother o' yours. My phone is suddenly very quiet!
maybe it just means you need to shut out everything else and be still in awe of God and Him alone.
my Thanksgiving break is the week of 11/26...
Take time to shut everything else off and take Him in.
I talked to Cassie, and it sounds like your small group doesn't get to do small group stuff, just media. I think that that should change.
