Idea & Perspective

Pastor Steve was talking about how alot of times people pick and choose from lots of religions to create a feel good religion where there is no personal God. He talked abou how people didn't want to be close to God because they know chnge would come with that close-ness. I've been thinking about it alot and I am so glad God is personal with us. It's kinda like friends. You wouldn't pick and choose friends and shut them out of your life, making sure they would't get in your personal life. So why do it with God? There is no one else who could love you more than God, and blocking him from your life could be the worst mistake you could ever make.






So this all made sense in my head but it could be total jibberish to others but what ev.....

I thought of this ingenious idea in the car today, so tell me what you think.


I'm thinking of printing some professional business cards but with a large blank spot. I will carry these cards EVERYWHERE with me and will fill write my opinions and ideas in the blank spot. Once they're filled out I will proceed to hand them to people (Ex. waiters and the like)!

My weekend has been interesting to say the least....So Saturday was like any other Saturday, woke up, ate, went to work, went to church, and then I went wiht my brother and his friends to Ruby Tuedays. I ate and drank and then my stomach started to hurt and then it kept getting worse. Finally I couldn't stand it and went to the bathroom. Once inside I threw up!!!!! digusting right? This is the first time I have ever thrown up when I'm not sick and in a public facility!!!!!

Anyway, today I was driving and totally ran a red light on complete accident. I was driving saw the light was green and then realized I needed to change lanes. I changed lanes and continued driving and looked up and the light was RED! so once i realized this in the middle of the interesection I sped thru (as to not cause a wreck).

AAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!

So Alex and Brett officially gave me the title..............White-ning (white lightning).

So now that i've quit my job im really excited for whatever God has planned for me.





just thought I'd share that.

So Collide was pretty much the most amazing thing ever!!! God did some amazing stuff. At first I had a bad attitude and was wondering why I ever came, but then we went into the first session and all that changed. They asked us to write down our expectationsand I didn't know what to put. I just kinda sat there and then God just started to put things on my heart, so i started writing them down, and by the end of the week God had spoken to me about EVERY single thing on that list. I've been stretched and pushed like never before. I danced my heart out and sang at the top of my lungs and wouldn't trade that retreat for ANYTHING!!!

So now that I have my license, there is so much freedom. Although the freedom comes with baggage, (gas, laws, rules, eyc.) I am greatly enjoying it!

I just researched him throughouly and I have dedcided that he is ......
arrogant
immature
prideful
clueless
brainless
and
completely unqualified to be president.

but thats just me.

Mike Huckabee is a potential candidate for president. Although not very popular I think that he stands firm in his beliefs and would make an excellent president. His honesty, integrity, leadership, beliefs, and goal are worthy attributes that, I believe, every candidate should have. without further to say......
